Eighteen year old Deepak believes that the secret of success is consistency of purpose. He comes from Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh and his parents are dependent on agriculture for their modest annual income of Rs. 1,80,000.
Deepak showed a knack for academics from an early age and proved his mettle by scoring a 7.8 CGPA in his 10th grade and later improving on his score to attain 81.4% percentage in his 12th grade. A bright young man of varied interests, he also plays volleyball, does photography, paints and even plays the conga and drums when he feels like blowing off some steam! Deepak dreamt of pursuing law from an early age but he always thought it was impossible due to his weak financial situation.
Fortunately, he got to know about IDIA through his peers, who informed him about a couple of IDIA scholars at Nirma University. With renewed purpose, Deepak scored well on the aptitude test and he was picked to train for CLAT 2018. The Rajasthan chapter witnessed his hard work and perseverance throughout the training and as expected, Deepak performed exceptionally well in CLAT. His high scores have secured him a seat at NIRMA University’s Institute of Law, Ahmedabad, one of India’s best law colleges. He dreams of becoming a judge and believes that he will go on to do something pathbreaking in the field of law.
