Hailing from the small village of Maitriwara in the Jalore district of Rajasthan, Arvind finished his schooling from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Jalore. His parents are farmers by profession, and his father works as a labourer during non-cropping season, making around INR 100-150 a day for his family.
Owing to his family’s lack of financial resources, Arvind also helps out with household work and holds tuition classes for his neighbours’ children in his free time. Arvind’s performance in CLAT 2015 is a testimony to the resilience of his spirit and determination. He secured an all India category rank of 116, securing a seat in National Law University, Jodhpur. We have no doubt that he will excel and elevate himself and his family out of poverty! If his existing commitment to his community is any indication, he is already well on his way towards making a difference within it.
